Congratulations on your retirement Bill Moore

My mentor and friend Bill Moore LSCSW is retiring at the close of 2022. I was so blessed to be mentored by him and to be considered a referral source for people when he ended his practice. What a blessing the city has experienced because of the labor of this faithful man of God. Thank you and Lesia for investing "Moore" in me!

Thanks for visiting!

Welcome to our site. We are pleased that you stopped by, and appreciate your willingness to explore our efforts in Kingdom work.

This is an evangelistic ministry whose sole purpose is to present the Gospel in Word, and in action. Christ redeemed us and has given us good gifts to use towards spreading the Gospel to the lost. We pray that you will find our ministry opportunities fitting to your needs and that it compels you to begin, or continue your walk.

Honoring the legacy of Bishop Aletha J. Cushinberry.

For 49 years she was the angel of Topeka's Apostolic Church of Jesus and served as my Pastor, mentor, and friend for over 24yrs. The Lord called her home from her earthly to her eternal reward on December 26, 2015. The fruit of her labor is expressed in the character of souls who are faithfully following Christ.

We love, miss, and celebrate you Bishop Cushinberry

Pastor Terry Canady

Truly excited about my brother, Pastor Frank "Terry" Canady as the angel of Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. Continue to keep him in your prayers as he leads the people of God in fulfillment of the vision that is upon this great ministry, that is heading into 3rd year under his leadership

2024 Scripture and Vision

Matthew 24:13 NLT

But the one who endures to the end will be saved. (EUTE-Endure Unto The End)

 #EUTE2024.

This Weeks Message

You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.  Matthew 24:44

Be Ready All The Time! (#BRATT2025)

Our theme scripture for 2025 is a continuation of our 2024 time of endurance that now is moving beyond "getting ready" to being ready at all times.  Jesus made it clear in the warnings listed in Matthew 24:1-13 where the scriptures crescendo to endure!

As Jesus continues the conversation it is clear that his return for us individually, or corporately is not know yet we are compelled to live in a state of readiness.  This is difficult for many who live an outcome based, goal centered life perspective of seeing from the lens of "evidence based" which distracts from faith and works.  This is why it is important to have an ear to hear God to avoid a life in a constant state of reaction (automatic and emotional) instead of response (thoughtful and deliberate).

The increased spirit of hate in our world is accompanied by antagonism which has many fighting purposelessly without any insight into whom they've engaged.

Blessings

Pastor Hymon
